Key Tracking Factors & Rationale:
It’s a light late summer weekend, so this week’s write-up will follow suit.
Coyote vs. Acme is tracking above previous expectations but forecasts are a bit volatile as online buzz has driven awareness in the film. It remains to be seen how walk-up and family-friendly business will be as an IP that’s not as familiar among today’s younger consumers.
Roadside’s Buddy is absent from the chart below but could be a candidate to slightly overperform. Our final pinpoint weekend forecast is $5.4 million.
Fathom’s 35th anniversary re-release of Terminator 2: Judgment Day also has a shot at cracking $1 million through the three-day window.
