Thinking & feeling DP3 is going to come in the high 180's -> mid 190's, will depend on a (somewhat anticipated?) ramp-up in sales this week & some serious walk-ins though.
will be interesting! but my optimistic forecast of IO2, DM4, Twisters, and DP3 doing $1.5B combined domestic and $4B global looks to be reached by IO2 way over performing, DM4 doing about what I thought it would - so thats good, Twisters looks like $80m domestic opening and Im thinking long run 4 quad appeal, and DP3 surely should be close to $1B...if its really really good who knows, only thing being the r rating but methinks its fine. THEN we have a surprisingly good broadening content add ons in august with TRAP (what a brilliant trailer/concept), it ends with us, and alien (being the scary alien romp it usually is)....carrying aug domestic to beat last year. and still...there should be MORE content. so given what theatrical is given...its doing stellar.
Look good for a higher OW than most have suggested the past few weeks since that original $200-235M outlier forecast in late June. I'm pinning $185-210 now, we will see.
